Caesarstone Hygiene Standard
Safe-guard your family with Caesarstone’s hygiene standard for kitchen countertops
Caesarstone’s non-absorbent products help you maintain a more hygienic work space when compared to other countertops*
Unlike marble and granite countertops, Caesarstone's surfaces are non-porous and over 99% non-absorbent, so they don’t soak up foods, liquids or any other substance that might encourage the growth of harmful bacteria, molds or mildew.
Since the kitchen is the hub of every home, unsanitary items such as keys, mobile phones, purses, lunchboxes, backpacks, grocery bags, mail and other household objects - can carry unwanted germs into your kitchen.
*When compared to marble, granite, wood butcher block and concrete countertops.
The good news is that when necessary, you can sanitize your countertop using off-the-shelf sanitizing sprays or use a mixture of 1 tablespoon of bleach per 1 gallon / 4 liters of clean water and allow your countertop to air dry.
On a regular basis, the following simple everyday steps can guarantee your kitchen remains a hygienic working space. This way you can continue exploring your passion for cooking without jeopardizing yourself and your loved ones.

Spilled oil, soy sauce, curry, turmeric powder, red wine, food coloring, makeup, ink, or even permanent markers and metal marks from keys – are all none issues on your Caesarstone surface.
